Itinerary :

After breakfast in your Riad/Hotel, we will start our journey southeast of Marrakech to Dades Valley. Our drive will take us through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, with an altitude of 2260m (7417ft) the highest pass in Morocco. You will enjoy amazing views of this fascinating landscape and the Mud Berber villages. Continuing south we arrive at the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, probably the most celebrated, filmed, and photographed Kasbah in Morocco. Featured in numerous films (including Lawrence of Arabia, The Sheltering Sky, Gladiator, Babel ...etc), it is the best-preserved Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arriving in Ouarzazate known as the “Hollywood of Africa” with its famous Atlas Film Studios. We will continue on to Dades, along with the “Road of the thousand Kasbahs”- the fascinating “sand castles” before stopping at Kalaat Mgouna, “Rose’s city” known for roses and its annual festival during the roses harvest in May.  Eventually, we’ll arrive at our hotel in the heart of the Dades Gorge.

After breakfast in your Riad/Hotel, we will drive back through the valley to see the amazing rock formation known as “the monkey toes”, and the still-standing 19th century Kasbah of Ait Yul. Leaving the Dades valley towards Tinrghir and the Todra gorge, where you will see the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley and walking under the 300m high red cliffs, where many rock-climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport. Continuing our trip to Merzouga via the cities of Erfoud and Rissani. Later on, we will arrive at Merzouga where You will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you check into your accommodation.

Today, after your breakfast you will start an explorative journey exploring the desert area; our journey starts by visiting Arfoud “a small town known for fossils” with an optional visit to fossil workshops, after that we will visit the Exotic souk of Rissani, a traditional town that was the origin of the ruling family in Morocco and the meeting place of the Caravans trading as far as Timbuctoo in Mali, here you will see men hooded and women veiled. You can also choose to visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif “the Founder of the Alaouite Dynasty. Later on, we will continue exploring the area by visiting a typical village of Khamlia where you will have the opportunity to experience the local music and life of the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought to Morocco from Mali, Mauritania, Guinea, and Ghana. The village of Khamlia is known also for a sample delicious pie called the Berber Pizza that you may try for lunch.

our final stop will be at the camel place where we are going to ride camels over the sands as the sun begins to set and as you reach the magnificent Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes, witness them turning a wonderful red hue.

You will spend an overnight in the Nomadic Luxury Tent and enjoy the company of a band playing Berber music under the stars in the heart of the Sahara Desert.

Early in the morning, and after breakfast, your camel guide will wake you up to watch what will be the best sunrise in your life. Afterward, you will camel trek back to meet your Driver at the village of Merzouga. you’ll travel to Errachidia along the magnificent rich Ziz valley.  Here you’ll stop to enjoy the panoramic view over the Ziz Canyon before you continue driving to Fez Via the city of Midelt where you will stop for lunch, and the City of Ifrane ‘’ known as the Small Switzerland of Morocco ‘’ through the Mid Atlas Mountains and the Cedar Forrest where you’ll stop to see the Barbarian apes for some photos.
